As an Earth’s Best blogger, I’ve had the chance to test out a lot of fabulous products over the last year, but some have become special favourites in our family. This month I was given a chance to choose three products to feature and with summer here at last, my focus was on easy, healthy and portable meals and snacks.
My favourite choice for easy snacking is the Earth’s Best Greek Yogurt Smoothies. Since these tasty treats were introduced they have become one of the company’s most popular products, and there’s little doubt about why they’re such a hit. The blend of fruit puree and Greek yogurt make these treats as healthy as they are delicious. And since they’re shelf stable, there’s no worries about refrigerating the pouches, which makes them perfect for summer outings and family road trips!
The Yogurt Rice Crisp Bars are another favourite in our household. Crisp rice cereal and oats combine to provide a sweet treat with a bit of tangy yogurt flavour. The boys love the sweet vanilla taste and I love that the bars are the perfect size for an afternoon snack and contain whole grain, protein and fibre!
The final item I chose was the Organic Elmo Mini Meals Pasta and Sauce. With the boys home from school now, quick and easy lunches my kids will actually eat are a top priority for me. The selection of canned and frozen Sesame Street Meals lunches are delicious, kid-friendly and contain wholesome ingredients like whole grain pasta and organic meat and vegetables. Best of all, they are fast and easy meal choices for those times when the last thing my boys want to do is stop playing so that they can eat!
