Disney Super Buddies Blast Onto Blu-ray and DVD

What crime-fighting team is fast, courageous and completely adorable? The Super Buddies, of course, and they’re coming to save the day on Blu-ray and DVD! Disney Super Buddies is the newest full-length movie adventure starring the popular puppies Budderball, Mudbud, B-Dawg, Rosebud and Buddah and it’s sure to be a hit with your kids. An ordinary day at Fernfield Farms turns extraordinary when Budderball, Mudbud, B-Dawg, Buddha and Rosebud discover mysterious rings that grant them each a unique super power. Before you can say, “Buddies, assemble,” the pups unleash their amazing abilities and race to the rescue when a shape-shifting bully from outer space threatens the planet. But can they succeed in kicking major tail without revealing their new secret identities?

While the Buddies movies tend to be a bit cheesy for adults, they are lots of fun too and I have to admit that this one, which featured mysterious superpowers, aliens from outer space and a whole lot of typical silly puppy fun, was enjoyable to watch. The plotline was entertaining for me and made this a fun family movie choice.

But for my boys, Super Buddies was far more than just entertaining! Both Zackary and Benjamin were absolutely delighted by the adventures of the Buddies as they learned to use their new superpowers and dealt with a bully. In fact, I was surprised just how much my seven-year-old enjoyed this movie! The humour was at a perfect level for him and for days after watching it, he would tell me about some of his favourite jokes and scenes.
