Sitting in front of a computer all day means that often my shoulders and back get strained from leaning forward over the screen. It doesn’t happen often, but at least once a month I’ll sit in the same position too long or maybe sleep the wrong way at night and have to deal with stiff, aching muscles.
I tended to just put up with the pain or occasionally take an ibuprofen if my muscles were really tight. Then Deep Relief came to my rescue with its new Deep Relief Heat Spray.
I loved the idea of a spray for pain relief. One of the reasons I hadn’t used a topical pain reliever was that they often seem to be thick, greasy and difficult to apply. Having the product in a spray made it mess-free and also helped with application in difficult or hard-to-reach areas like the middle of the back. I sprayed the formula on my shoulders and back and waited to see how it worked.
The first thing I noticed was how cold the spray felt first going on. As the instructions directed, I only applied a thin layer at first. I didn’t notice much of a warming sensation, but I did notice the smell!
The spray smells like sweet peppermint and since I’ve noticed most topical pain relievers have quite an unpleasant odour, I was delighted by the aroma of the Deep Relief Heat Spray.
I applied a slightly thicker layer of spray and sure enough, I soon felt it begin to warm on my back and shoulders. The spray got quite hot for about a minute and then settled to a comfortable warmth that lasted for hours.
For strained muscles, this spray was wonderful and noticeably reduced the pain while leaving me feeling relaxed. It didn’t completely eliminate the tightness in my shoulders and neck, but it definitely helped me move a little easier.
And the best part was that the Deep Relief Heat Spray was so easy to apply with no mess or greasiness! I appreciated the pain relief but I also appreciated being able to apply it at any time of day without dealing with a messy application process (or an overwhelming smell)! It made the spray perfect for taking out of the house for quick relief on the go.
I have to admit, I was a little hesitant about testing out this topical pain reliever but I am glad that I did. I loved the smell and was pleasantly surprised by how effective it was. I don’t like using oral painkillers unless it’s absolutely necessary, so having an effective topical alternative was wonderful.
If you occasionally deal with sprains, strains, arthritis pain or general aches and pains in your muscles and joints, give this convenient spray a try and see what you think. The targeted warmth may be just what your muscles need!
