Summer vacation may have just begun, but I like to get prepared for the next school year early so that I can enjoy the summer stress-free. For me, part of back-to-school preparation means helping my boys keep their gear safe at school and fortunately, with a little help from Master Lock, that’s no problem at all! In this video, I cover my top three tips for helping to keep gear secure at school!
Simple preparations can make a big difference when school starts up again, and for my family, that means making sure that my boys’ school gear is in good repair, carefully labelled and ready to be secured once it gets to school in September. And by taking care of these things now, I’ll be able to enjoy summer with my boys knowing that when school starts again, their supplies will be safe and secure!

Great tips. One thing I would suggest is that if you are reusing a back pack then you should have a back up one in case it wears out during the school year. Go to the store about a week after school has started and they should all be on for 50% off. Pick up one and save it. If they get 3 months in and their backpack from last year breaks (been there believe me) then it is hard to find a good selection of backpacks and they are all at regular price so the cost is enormous. Reusing a backpack is great but I would advise getting a backup when they are cheap just in case
