Keep Pets Happy During March Break with Products from PetSafe Canada-Giveaway

I absolutely love my pet cat, Racer. I hadn’t wanted a pet at first but she adopted me as soon as she walked into the house and quickly won me over with her quirky personality. But my family also loves to travel and that can be a challenge for a pet owner. Some families prefer to take their pets with them when travelling. Others find leaving the pet at home to be more manageable. But if you’re travelling this March Break, PetSafe Canada has products to help make your life easier, whether you’re bringing your furry companion with you or making her comfortable in the house during your absence.

Personally, I find it easiest to leave my cat at home when I travel with the boys. And recently PetSafe Canada sent me some products to help ensure that even when Racer is alone, she has all the food, water and entertainment she needs. I received the Eatwell 5 Meal Pet Feeder, the Drinkwell Zen Fountain and the FroliCat Dart Duo to review and I couldn’t wait to see what my finicky feline thought of them!

The Eatwell 5 Meal Pet Feeder uses a simple rotating system to provide a measured amount of food to a pet for up to five days. I liked the fact that the system prevented pets from gorging themselves to encourage healthy eating habits. And the timer was easy to program so that I could feel secure my cat was getting the food she needed at the same time every day.

The Drinkwell Zen Fountain is even more convenient, with a design that not only provides fresh water to pets for days but also keeps that water clean for optimal nutrition. I’ve often mentioned the fact that my cat refuses to drink tap water, so I love the fact that the fountain has a built-in filter to remove impurities. And since it holds up to one gallon of water, it can provide hydration for Racer for up to eight days!

Of course, even though food and water are essentials for my cat, entertainment is important too. Racer loves playing with toys and running around the house, so the FroliCat Dart Duo was a perfect choice for her. This clever device projects two laser dots on the floor and moves them around at different speeds to entice and engage pets. Racer has been having a great time playing with the toy, and I like the fact that I can choose from four different speeds and four different automatic shutoff times when I use the toy!

And when we get home, it’s a great time to reward her with a special treat like a Lickety Stik to show her how much we missed her. 1. my oh so energetic kitten would adore this as my condo is so small and she craves more stimulation than I can provide!

  2. Gilbert is 3 and is a big pain in the butt some days. We rescued him from a shelter in January 2012. A week later we rescued Pudgie from a nasty snow storm, he had been wandering around outside for a few days prior.
So we have 2 rescued 3yr olds who are quite spoiled in the amount of love they get. Would love some helpful items for them to enjoy as we only have the basics.
    Thank you for the opportunity!

  3. It would be our 2 kitties. Jasmine is 5 years old and Nickie is 4 years old. Both are rescue kitties. Would make leaving them at home a little easier.

  4. My hubby and I got our first ever kitten in September and we named her Pippin. We are planning to be away a few days to visit family next month, and are very nervous about leaving her at home. Winning this contest would certainly help put our mind at ease some!
