Personally, great music makes a big difference to my mood when I’m cleaning any room. And a reward afterwards, like a nice bubble bath, helps motivate me to finish the job! I hate spring cleaning! But to attempt to make it fun, I turn it into a game with the kids with rewards. If they can fill a box with items that they no longer want or play with, they get to pick out a brand new toy that they do want. Its a good way to weed out the broken items, and items they have outgrown which we then donate :)
