It used to be fairly common for women to dread some of the major age milestones in their lives, whether it was the experience of saying goodbye to young adulthood when turning thirty or officially entering “old age” when turning sixty. But for years now that attitude has been shifting and personally, I couldn’t be happier about it. In fact, 90% of Canadian women believe that age will continue to become less and less relevant to them as time progresses. And that’s the motivation behind the new Olay Ageless campaign. While there may be some aspects of our lives that act as “age giveaways,” feeling young is what’s truly important to today’s women!
On a recent trip to Mexico, I learned that my boys were a bit of an age giveaway for me. When giving a business card to someone on a press trip, a fellow blogger noticed my blog name. “You’re a mother?” he exclaimed in surprise. I said that yes, I had two boys that were (at the time) eight and five. “You must have had them very young,” he said. He was even more surprised when he learned that I hadn’t, and was actually 34 years old. Talk about an ego boost!
Olay has been helping women feel ageless for decades now, though of course every woman does have her own age giveaways. Whether it’s that teenage child or those signature dance moves from decades ago, it’s really no bad thing to give away your age…especially when your skin still looks great! That’s why Olay wants to make you ageless with a fabulous giveaway. One lucky Mommy Kat and Kids reader is going to win an Olay Ageless prize pack containing new Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting EyeSwirl, the new Regenerist Facial Cleansing Brush, Olay Micro-sculpting Scrub Cleanser, Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream and Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Serum, a $165 total value! To enter to win, just leave a blog comment about a time that something gave away your age!

While I was an Olay Total Effects fan for years, I recently added Olay Regenerist Micro-Sculpting Cream to my beauty routine and I love the youthful glow it gives my skin. I’m sure that my favourite Olay products are part of the reason my face isn’t one of my age giveaways just yet! But regardless of how old I might look, I’m sure that living with a youthful attitude is helping to keep me that way. And to me, that’s what being ageless is really all about. With the right outlook, our age becomes one of the most unimportant numbers in our lives!
