Kids of All Ages Will Love the New LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales DVD

When my boys have wanted entertainment for the last few months, they’ve been watching more YouTube than they have regular shows and cartoons. On the one hand, I’m happy that the two of them have found something they both enjoy, despite their three year age difference. On the other hand, I’d like to see them watching something with a little more of a plot. Luckily, Disney DVD recently gave me the perfect alternative that both my boys love: LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales on DVD! Here’s a brief synopsis of the disc:

The fun begins following the victory celebration in the Ewok village on Endor, at the end of Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. R2-D2 and C-3PO have gathered to regale Luke, Leia, Han, Chewbacca and the other Rebels with the tales of their adventures that led to the events of Star Wars: The Phantom Menace. An accidental kidnapping occurs when the droids are reminiscing, and suddenly you’re taken on a new journey that leads to the retelling of the entire Star Wars saga, as told by R2-D2 and C-3PO! It’s hilarious and playful, packed with all your favourite interlocking characters. LEGO Star Wars: Droid Tales is intergalactic thrills for the whole family!

If there’s one thing that both my boys share, it’s a love of LEGO. So finding a great LEGO cartoon that they can enjoy together is always a win in our house. This fun-filled DVD has all the classic characters that I loved as a child. And since the droids have always been my boys’ favourite Star Wars characters, they were delighted to see them starring in this DVD! With five episodes of action, adventure and excitement, it was a top family pick any time we wanted to sit down and watch a quick show together.

The LEGO Star Wars line is one of my absolute favourites when it comes to both LEGO sets and other entertainment. In fact, I even have a LEGO Princess Leia key-chain! And my boys love the characters just as much as I do. Bringing the fun of their LEGO Star Wars sets to the television is something that everyone in the house can enjoy. And best of all, it’s suitable for all ages! Check out the new DVD for yourself and let your kids enjoy some Star Wars fun with a LEGO twist. They’re sure to find it a bricktastic good time!
