Of all the things that I love about summer, one of my favourites is having company visit. From relatives coming from out of town to my boys’ neighbourhood friends just coming to play for a few hours, a full house is a summer house in my mind!

Dirt & mud brought in from the yard.
The biggest mess is usually sand and dirt tracked in from outside.
My family is grown so I don’t have to tackle summer messes anymore. I guess the worst is when hubby comes in after cutting the grass and some of the clippings are stuck to him.

We got a new puppy last year. Even though Casey has short hair, he sheds enough in the run of a week that we could build a new dog! We are still trying to find the right tools to keep ahead of the dog hair! Thank goodness we have hardwood floors and only the stairs have carpet. Thanks for the super giveaway opportunity.

My biggest summer mess happened when I kept my two and four year old grandchildren for the day as a babysitting favor.They were given a snack and some orange juice in sippy cups as they watched a movie.When all was quiet I stepped out of the room for a minute.BIG MISTAKE! I heard a lot of giggling going on and upon returning to the living room,I discovered they weresucking up the juice and then blowing it up the walls and all over the furniture and floors.Oh my heavens what a mess and it called for some drastic cleaning measures.I would have liked some Libman cleaning supplies for that job! LOL :)
