There’s nothing I love more than a refreshing summertime drink.
And this year, my go-to summer beverage has been a Saskatchewan exclusive: Crush-It hard iced tea!
It’s slightly sweet, slightly lemony, and has that perfect iced tea flavor that reminds me of my days spent chugging Nestea as a teenager.
For the most part, I’ve been happy drinking Crush-It right out of the can. But, I couldn’t resist trying to make a good thing even better.
So, I decided to put a twist on the classic non-alcoholic Arnold Palmer by creating an easy Spiked Arnold Palmer featuring Crush-It hard iced tea!
My favourite thing about this recipe is how incredibly quick it is to make. Equal amounts of lemonade and hard iced tea poured over ice, and the drink is done!
Also, since the lemonade is non-alcoholic, the total ABV of this Spiked Arnold Palmer is just 2.5%, making it a perfect choice for those days when I want something nice and light.
That being said, if you want to kick your Spiked Arnold Palmer up to the next level, it’s as easy as adding 1oz. of vodka!
I decided to use Provincial Spiced Vodka on the days I wanted a little more kick to my drink. The blend of spices in the vodka adds a little something special to the lemon and iced tea flavors.
But, if you prefer to keep things classic, regular vodka works just fine too. A Spiked Arnold Palmer with vodka has a total ABV of just under 6%.
Of course, if you’re not lucky enough to live in Saskatchewan, you can make this Spiked Arnold Palmer with your favorite variety of hard iced tea.
It won’t be quite as good, but that’s just one of the benefits we get living in the heart of the prairies!
And if you are a fellow Saskatchewonian, grab yourself some Crush-It hard iced tea, and give this easy recipe a try.
It’s sure to become a summer favorite!
