My husband and I, like so many adults, often purchase something for our house as a Christmas present to each other. We pretty much have everything we want individually, but our run-down old house needs almost everything!

Maintenance is as easy as carefully removing the collector, washing it in the sink, drying it and putting it back into place. Unlike traditional air purifiers, there are no filters to replace and the purifier doesn’t lose effectiveness over time.

Touching the purifier when it is turned on causes a small spark of static electricity that some people might find unpleasant, so the purifier also includes a plastic guard for those that don’t care for the sensation. The guard is a simple sleeve of thin plastic bands that fits over the collector so that the purifier can be moved from place to place without the need to touch the unit.
