I received a coupon to try out a box of Magnum bars and the hardest thing about the review was definitely deciding what kind of Magnum ice cream bars to choose.
With sensational flavours like Almond, Double Caramel, White and Dark, I couldn’t help but want to buy a box of each kind.
Finally, I decided on Double Chocolate, which featured premium chocolate ice cream, gooey chocolate sauce and Magnum’s signature Belgian chocolate coating.
I knew that my boys wouldn’t really appreciate the exceptional quality of these bars, so I gave one to my husband, one to my stepdaughter and kept the final bar for myself.
From the first bite, I knew why the Magnum ice cream bar was touted as the ultimate indulgence. The ice cream was so creamy and smooth that it seemed to melt in my mouth as soon as it hit my tongue, and the difference between standard chocolate coating and the luxurious Belgian chocolate of the Magnum was like night and day.
Magnum bars also feature a unique double-dipping technology so that scrumptious sauces can be sandwiched between the ice cream and the chocolate.
The double chocolate variety featured a smooth and satisfying chocolate sauce that added to the overall richness of the experience.
The Magnum is definitely not a bar to be gobbled up on a hot day. All three of us took our time and savoured every bite of the satisfying bars. They are the perfect rich and indulgent treat for any day when I want to spoil myself with something extra special.
Overall, the Magnum ice cream bars were completely delicious and I can’t wait to try the other flavours.
The White variety is especially tempting to me since I’m a huge fan of white chocolate, but the Double Caramel bars, which feature a layer of chocolate sauce covered by a layer of caramel sauce and finished off with Belgian chocolate coating, sound just as good and even more indulgent.

Bought a box of 3 after laying off after bad manufacturing. Ice cream showing through chocolate , one had no ice cream in bottom half, and half a stick. The new box was worse. All three had rounded shape and all 3 had half inch sticks and still ice cream showing through. I’m sure I’m not the only one having this problem. Returned to Publix and got refund.
