Mother’s Day is fast approaching and this year, Parker has a gift that Mom is sure to love! The Parker IM Premium in Metallic Pink is available in fountain pen, ballpoint or rollerball options and makes a stylish gift that’s also incredibly useful! I received the Parker IM Premium rollerball pen in Metallic Pink to review. It is the first really nice pen I’ve ever owned and I couldn’t wait to test it out.
The refillable pen casing and rollerball cartridge come separately, so after assembling the pen, I tried it out on a scrap of paper by the desk. The pen has a nice dark, thick line but what I really liked about using it was the feel of the pen in my hand. The metal body gives it a much more solid feel when writing than a cheap disposable pen.
The actual style of the pink chiselled casing was the absolute highlight of this pen for me, though. The pink is just the right shade: not too feminine and not too subdued. And the chrome trims highlight the colour wonderfully and give it a sleek, modern look. I just love having this pen close at hand on my desk while I work!
Parker wants to help make your Mother’s Day shopping easier this year, so the company is very generously offering one lucky Mommy Kat and Kids reader their own Parker IM Premium rollerball pen in Metallic Pink, a $50 value! To enter to win, just leave a blog comment about something you think would make a great Mother’s Day gift.
Even in our modern digital age, there’s something incredibly satisfying about writing out a quick note with a good pen. Give a special woman in your life a gift that she can use every day with one of the beautiful pens from Parker!

A fruit basket would be a great gift!
Spending the day with my daughter, Sara always makes my Mother’s Day special. Usually my Mum, Sara and I go out for breakfast together. Sara is very good at choosing a Hallmark Card that brings on the tears. If I cry she feels that she chose well!?

I guess you could give a mom about anything but most moms like something personal from her kinds. Something they have made of designed etc. Something they have their touch on. So if you send flowers make sure to do a personal card for her too.
Depends on the “Mom”.. my mom hates flowers and ornamental things…my mother in law loves all of that lol.. I don’t think there is a perfect mother’s day gift other then for a mom to get what ‘she’ wants :)
Flowers are always a hit, but even better would be a visit, but mom’s too far.
I think flowers make a nice Mothers Day gift. What mom doesn’t love a beautiful bouquet?
i love it when my girls color me things and my bf makes me meals all day.. makes me feel pretty special :)
I think a nice dinner and some out door decor and garden items.
