Families Connect with the HP Envy Recline 23 All-in-One Desktop PC

This year my family had the chance to make some extra special Christmas memories with the help of HP Canada and it was a holiday to remember for sure! I was so excited to learn about all the great free printable crafts and home décor projects from Snapfish by HP, and printing them out with the HP Envy 5530 eAll-in-One Printer was a breeze. With the home decked out and ready for family fun, it was time to enjoy some bonding and family togetherness, and once again HP was ready to help!

My boys have a lot of family that live quite far away. In fact, their Dad’s entire side of the family lives in Quebec, which means they’ve only had the chance to spend time with their grandparents and some of their aunts and uncles in person once before. But in the modern age, that doesn’t mean they still can’t connect and talk! The boys have been using Skype to chat with their extended family for years now and this year our Skype sessions got a whole lot better when HP sent us the HP Envy Recline 23 TouchSmart All-In-One Desktop PC!

This beautiful all-in-one computer was a huge upgrade from my little laptop, which is what we usually used to chat with family. While I did have a desktop computer, I didn’t have a webcam for it so my laptop screen was the only option for connecting face-to-face. It worked, but sometimes the screen would be hard to see and my boys always ended up pushing to get in front of the camera and see what was happening.

The large 23” screen was big enough that there was plenty of room for both boys to sit together and chat with family, and the adjustable display stand meant that it was easy to tilt the screen to ensure both boys could see and and talk comfortably. Having such a great display screen was almost like being able to visit in person!

The large, full HD screen is perfect for watching movies and playing games, so both boys had a blast testing the computer out with Netflix and their favourite apps when winter break boredom set in!
