There’s no better way to celebrate the weekend than with a fun beverage, and this week I decided to try something new for a Friday cocktail.
Thanks to a review package from Reed’s Ginger Brew, I was in the mood to get a little spicy, so a delicious and classic Moscow Mule was the perfect choice!
The Moscow Mule is a fairly simple drink with a fun flavor that perfectly blends the spice of ginger with the tanginess of lime.
It’s often made with ginger-ale, but I far prefer it with ginger beer since the resulting flavor is so much stronger and more complex.
Finding the best ginger beer for Moscow Mule cocktails isn’t always easy though, so I was pretty happy to discover all-natural Reed’s Ginger Brew!
Because my kids wanted in on the fun, I decided to make my Moscow Mule cocktails virgin, something that was as simple as eliminating the vodka. Both boys loved the finish drinks, though my heat-loving oldest son was definitely the biggest fan!
Made with Reed’s Original Ginger Brew and served in one of the traditional Moscow Mule mugs, this beverage is a great way to welcome the weekend.
And if you’re trying to cut calories from your diet, naturally sweetened Reed’s Extra Ginger Brew-Light is ideal for creating a flavourful drink that’s not full of sugar. Whip one up for yourself and see what you think!
