With my recent house sale, a few different fun summer vacations and all the other hustle and bustle I’ve had going on, I have not been making my health a priority lately. And now that everything has calmed down and I have more time on my hands, it’s time to change that and get back on track! When I start to feel weighed down and low on energy, a diet that’s high in protein and fibre with minimal processed carbohydrates always helps me feel better fast. And adding more protein to my diet just got easier with Vector Honey Almond Granola!
This new granola from Kellogg’s Vector features twenty grams of protein, five grams of fibre and ten essential nutrients per serving. It’s filling, delicious and the perfect way to power up for your day. I recently received a Vector package containing the new granola and assorted other Vector products and as somebody that’s always been a big fan of granola, I couldn’t wait to give it a try.
My favourite way to eat granola used to be to just add milk, but lately I’ve been creating morning parfaits instead. Plain yogurt, berries and granola combine to make a breakfast that’s packed with nutrients and absolutely delicious. I made one of my favourite parfaits with the new Vector Honey Almond Granola and I fell in love with the first bite!
This cereal has all the sweet taste and crunch that makes granola my favourite cereal, with the extra fibre and protein that I want in my diet. I was impressed with how filling the cereal was; my little parfait kept me full right up until lunch time, so I didn’t even need a morning snack!
Granola is something I’m always going to have in the house anyways since it’s so tasty added to yogurt in the morning and also makes a great filling snack. But now I’ll be choosing Vector granola since it has more of the nutrients I want in my diet and helps me to stay full even longer!
