Rinse any stains as soon as you can, let sit in spray and wash and then wash. I’ve had no problems this way!
My best laundry tip is to turn garments inside out before washing. I hang dry anything that I don’t want the sleeves or length in legs to shrink for myself & my daughter because we are both tall.

My best tip is to assign each family member a laundry day. That day each week is the day their laundry gets washed, dried, folded and put away. This system has helped me keep the laundry organized and put away instead of having an endless pile of clean and dirty clothes.
I like to use cold water
for stains use a gall soap, it’s amazing what that gets out.

I agree with everyone that’s mentioned cold water. I also tend to pass on liquid fabric softener –I can’t see the point of using it in the wash and then a sheet in the dryer. Clothes somehow seem less static-y that way, too.
