Checking the fire alarms
Each fall, I check all of the smoke alarms to see if are working and change the batteries.
We check all smoke detectors and replace all the batteries.
My fall safety chore is making sure that all of my smoke alarms are in good working order.
I make sure the doors and windows are insulated, the smoke detectors work and have the gas turned on if I plan on using fireplace
My husband and I clear our yard of fallen leaves and chop enough firewood to keep us warm for the winter.
We always change the batteries in the smoke detectors when the clocks “fall” back!
