Knowing the temperature will soon drop and the ground will be covered in snow reminds me of all the little household errands I need to do in order to be ready for winter. And part of that means making sure that my family and our belongings are safely stored away.

Keeping the house safe and secure is one of our main priorities. We make sure there is good batteries in the smoke alarms.
We clean up the leaves often.
I don’t have any fall safety chores that I follow so maybe I will start on that. I usually just clean the garage every fall since the weather is nice.
