Almost every kid loves creating unique pieces of art, and if you’ve got a creative child on your holiday shopping list, Crayola has a great new gift idea that you’ll want to see! The Crayola Air Marker Sprayer uses a special electric sprayer unit, Crayola markers and stencils to let kids create colourful rainbow pictures with a unique air-brushed style! Recently I had the chance to test out the Crayola Air Marker Sprayer for myself and I couldn’t wait to see how my boys liked it.
Using the device is as simple as plugging it in, securing a marker in the nozzle and pulling the trigger. The boys liked being able to either freestyle a design onto the paper or use the included stencils to add leaves, flames, letters and animals to their pictures. Zackary especially loved the dragon stencil and had a lot of fun combining different colours to get the look he wanted!
A word of warning…this machine does create a bit of mess. Occasionally the end of the nozzle would bubble up with liquid instead of misting out in a light spray, so I kept paper towel close at hand to clean the tip when needed. And as careful as my boys were, some splatters of colour did end up on the table. But of course, since we were using Crayola washable markers, a quick wipe with a damp cloth after playtime cleaned up everything perfectly!
Crayola wants to let you try its top new products this holiday season too, so the company is offering a very special giveaway! One lucky Mommy Kat and Kids reader is going to win a Crayola holiday prize pack containing a Crayola Air Marker Sprayer and a Crayola Creations Jewel Maker, a $68 total value! (Make sure to check out my review of the Jewel Maker too!) To enter to win, just leave a blog comment about which of these two new Crayola toys your child would be most excited to try.
Creativity is always something that I appreciate when shopping for Christmas gifts and Crayola has definitely mastered toys that inspire creativity in kids.
