This weekend, the world celebrated Earth Day, a day to appreciate nature and to make a commitment to protect the earth for future generations. I’ve always been a believer that small actions can make a big difference so to me, Earth Day is a time to plan small ways I can help make the world a better place all year long. And that’s exactly what Live Clean is doing as well with its new 1L Hand Soap Refill bottles!
Available in three popular varieties, these 1L refill containers are a perfect way to use less plastic while also getting more value for your dollar. Choose from Moisturizing Sweet Pea, Hydrating Fresh Water or Hydrating Argan Oil. Personally, I adore the sweet almond-like scent of the Hydrating Argan Oil hand soap; it’s a great way of keeping my hands soft and protected from harsh Saskatchewan winds.
The bottles contain enough hand soap to refill an original pump bottle of Live Clean Hand Soap twice and of course, like all Live Clean products, the soap is free of parabens, phthalates, SLS and mineral oil. In other words, it’s a smart choice for the earth in more ways than one!
Want to add some eco-friendly cleanliness to your house? Live Clean is very generously offering three lucky Mommy Kat and Kids reader a prize pack containing their choice of any one of the Live Clean 500mL pump hand soaps and one of the 1L refill bottles, a $13 total value! To enter to win, just leave a blog comment about a small thing you do to help make the earth a better place.
Live Clean Hand Soap has been a household essential for me for years now, and now that we’re officially starting the process of building our dream home, I can’t wait to ensure every bathroom has a bottle of the soap with my refill bottles ready when needed. Buy local produce and walk instead of driving whenever is possible.
We recycle, reuse and use cloth shopping bags!
We reccyle at home, have done it for years, have cloth, reusable grocery bags (for years now). We even recycle at work, and I prob am more responsible for it then anyone else as I am the last person there each night (So I’m the one tossing out the garbage or bringing the stuff to the blue bin)
One of the things I do I recycle and reuse bags!
Always recycle.
We raise our own chickens and they get kitchen scraps. We also recycle everything.
We take a bag with us to the beach and pick up garbage as we explore.
Starting a compost bin this year!
we compost and recycle bottles
We recycle and reuse as much as possible. We actually have very little garbage
