There’s no doubt about it, being stuck indoors can get tiring pretty quickly! So while the boys and I relax at home, I’ve been on a mission to find fun family activities that can keep us all entertained.
Watching family-friendly shows and movies is always a popular activity choice in our household. And to give us a big screen experience in the comfort of our own home, ViewSonic recently sent us the M1 Mini LED Projector to review!
This portable projector gives new meaning to “compact;” at just 4”x4”, it’s smaller than my wallet and even comes with a handy wrist strap for carrying! And for the fashion-lover, it boasts three interchangeable coloured covers.
The projector features a built-in battery that last for 2 1/2 hours when fully charged, which gives it great portability. When my oldest wants to watch sports highlights in his room or my toddler wants to watch his favourite music videos at the kitchen table, the ViewSonic M1 has us covered.
To play media, the projector has ports for an HDMI, a USB or a micro-USB. I tend to prefer using the USB; I just fill one of my flash drives with movies and then plug it in to choose my favourite!
One of the things that especially impressed me about this projector was the sound. The projector includes a built-in JBL speaker, and the audio on our movies is loud and clear enough to fill the whole room.
While the ViewSonic M1 Mini LED Projector doesn’t have the brightness or full HD resolution of a larger projector, its 854×480 resolution is still high enough for a large screen experience. And its portability means that it’s easy to go from watching TV shows in bed with my hubby to having a movie night in the family room with the kids!
