Seventh Generation’s New Natural 4X Laundry Detergent is Eco-Friendly Inside and Out

It’s almost Earth Day and thinking about ways that I can minimize my family’s impact on the earth are filling my head. It’s not hard to find eco-friendly products for our homes these days; every major brand seems to have its own earth-conscious line of products.

The bottle is made from 100% recycled fibre (70% recycled cardboard and 30% recycled newspaper) and once it’s empty it can be either recycled or composted!

I received a coupon so that I could check out the detergent for myself and I couldn’t wait to see what the new packaging was like. The bottle really felt exactly like cardboard and I liked the way the container was shaped to be easy to carry, hold and pour. I chose the Geranium Blossoms and Vanilla Natural 4X Laundry Detergent and was so excited to see how it worked.

The detergent was just as effective as the original Seventh Generation laundry detergent that I had tried in the past, but what really struck me about this detergent was the scent. It reminded me of the smell of the ocean and I absolutely loved it.

I had only used the unscented Free & Clear variety of Seventh Generation before and I’m so sad I missed out on enjoying this amazing aroma earlier!

I love Seventh Generation Natural 4X Laundry Detergent even more now that it has such an ingenious packaging design. And the Geranium Blossoms and Vanilla scent really is amazing; it’s such a fresh and outdoorsy aroma!
