While I know how easy it is to get off track when tackling a new challenge, I was surprised to learn that most New Year’s Resolutions don’t last beyond the end of the month. Sticking with a new goal can be hard but this year, Church & Dwight has a few tips to help make it easier no matter what you’re trying to accomplish in 2015!
Spread the Word
Share your resolutions with your friends and family! Not only will you gain support from loved ones, but it also encourages you to keep yourself accountable.
Set Yourself Up for Success
With the new year we tend to set overly-ambitious goals for ourselves, but sometimes creating smaller goals over the duration of the year will get you the same results. If you’re looking to get more fit and healthy, take it one step at a time: drink an extra glass of water everyday, take the stairs and make sure you take your daily multivitamins. Taking a vitamin may seem like a chore, but with deliciously easy-to-chew Vitafusion™ MultiVites gummies it will feel more like a treat! Before you know it, minor adjustments will grow into effortless routines.
Have fun!
One of the best things about New Year’s resolutions is that it’s all up to you! So make it fun and get a little creative. Turn your exercise into a hobby and your organizing into a DIY project. Achieving your goals will feel like a breeze when it’s something you look forward to.
Personally, I love the idea of making projects fun instead of tiresome. And since organizing my house is one of my major goals for 2015, I’m going to be using this advice to help me get the job done! But no matter what your goals are for the new year, remember that getting off track for a day or two doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It just means it’s time to reevaluate your plan, start again and move forward to success!
