Try These 3 Easy Tips to Stay On Track with Your New Year’s Resolutions

While I know how easy it is to get off track when tackling a new challenge, I was surprised to learn that most New Year’s Resolutions don’t last beyond the end of the month. Sticking with a new goal can be hard but this year, Church & Dwight has a few tips to help make it easier no matter what you’re trying to accomplish in 2015!

Spread the Word

Share your resolutions with your friends and family! Not only will you gain support from loved ones, but it also encourages you to keep yourself accountable.

Set Yourself Up for Success

With the new year we tend to set overly-ambitious goals for ourselves, but sometimes creating smaller goals over the duration of the year will get you the same results. If you’re looking to get more fit and healthy, take it one step at a time: drink an extra glass of water everyday, take the stairs and make sure you take your daily multivitamins. Taking a vitamin may seem like a chore, but with deliciously easy-to-chew Vitafusion™ MultiVites gummies it will feel more like a treat! Before you know it, minor adjustments will grow into effortless routines.

Have fun!

One of the best things about New Year’s resolutions is that it’s all up to you! So make it fun and get a little creative. Turn your exercise into a hobby and your organizing into a DIY project. Achieving your goals will feel like a breeze when it’s something you look forward to.

Personally, I love the idea of making projects fun instead of tiresome. And since organizing my house is one of my major goals for 2015, I’m going to be using this advice to help me get the job done! But no matter what your goals are for the new year, remember that getting off track for a day or two doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It just means it’s time to reevaluate your plan, start again and move forward to success!

  1. Great advice, I’m positive I can stick to mine this year or at least I hope I can, mine is to stop spending on items that we do not need and to start saving the money and second to change my eating habits!

  2. 21 days into the new year, I’m on point with what I committed to changing this year. I read an article about a guy who changed his password on his computer every month and it kept him focused. I have to unlock my computer atleast 3 times a day at work so I too changed my password to give myself motivation!! Every time I type it my resolve is enforced in my mind. :)

  3. having fun in the process is the best part without a little laugh here or there it gets quite boring and dull good points

  4. I agree with set yourself up for success. Don’t say I’m going to lose twenty-five pounds, instead try I’m going to lose two pounds a month, That makes it so much easier to stay on track.
