Everyone knows that breakfast is the most important meal of the day, and to ensure that I have the energy I need when I’m especially busy, a good breakfast is a must. This month, as part of the President’s Choice Guiding Stars program, I was challenged to create a recipe using only ingredients that the program has awarded three stars.
Since so many women find it hard to enjoy a nutritious breakfast, I decided to share my quick and easy Berry Yogurt Parfait recipe! It’s filling, packed with nutrition and uses all three-star ingredients!
It may seem like the parfait needs some form of sweetener added to it, but personally I find the granola and berries add all the sweetness that I need. I especially love using fresh raspberries and blueberries for this breakfast but on a very hot summer day like today, frozen berries add extra refreshment. For those that prefer other fruits, chunks of mango, peach or pineapple would make a fabulous substitute as well.
Best of all, this yogurt parfait recipe is so quick to make that it’s perfect for even the busiest morning! With the new school year just a few weeks away, I know this breakfast will be a must on my menu before long. I can throw it together in a cup or bowl in just minutes!

We had a mini vacay in Tremblant a few weeks ago and one morning there were similar parfaits on the breakfast buffet. It’s not something I’d normally think to have for breakfast but I tried one and it was scrumptious! Thanks for the easy, healthy how-to!
