Ensure Your Home and Family are Secure this Fall with Products from Master Lock-Giveaway #LSSS

Fall is a season that’s always seemed to me to be one of preparation. Knowing the temperature will soon drop and the ground will be covered in snow reminds me of all the little household errands I need to do in order to be ready for winter. And part of that means making sure that my family and our belongings are safely stored away.

As much as I wish that winter wasn’t so close, I’d rather face it knowing that my doors and windows are sealed, my furnace is working properly and my family’s bicycles and toys are locked up safely. After all, a little preparation now leaves me more time to enjoy the fun that winter brings! No matter what your family’s fall safety chores are, Master Lock products can help ensure that everything and everyone are safe and secure all winter long!

  1. Not as many chores as some people have, since I live in an apartment. But I take my little window-unit air conditioner down, put the screen back, and wash the windows (which are all filthy from the dust and wind of summer).

  2. One of the things we do in the fall is to winterize our vehicle and make sure we have all the needed supplies. It’s a good time to change batteries and air filters in the house also.

  3. Fall chores at our home are making sure to change all the batteries in the alarms, changing the furnace filter and oiling the motor, turning off the water to the outside tap and making sure we have a large bag of ice melt for our driveway and steps.

  4. we’re still trying to figure out what to do to the deck so our dog stops running out and ripping his nails.

  5. We help clean up my sister’s pool for the winter and lock up her shed with all of the toys/pool stuff in it. I also check all batteries in the smoke/carbon monoxide alarms. I also scramble our garage door opener so people can’t come by and use something to steal the code!
