Usually I will give the house a good cleaning. This year I don’t have to because hubby is working and we have no one coming to our place, just a quiet Thanksgiving this year.

Great tips! I love my Magic Eraser for sure! I love to get my house ready for Thanksgiving by changing little accent pieces and accessories for Fall. Harvest colored sofa cushions, mantle decorated, Thanksgiving themed kitchen towels, the table (of course) – the little things that get changed up make me not notice if I miss dusting in one corner LOL
I clean and get my kids to help. This year though we are going to a friends house for Thanksgiving which is much easier.
We decorate and prepare food for cooking ahead of time.
I clean the house from top to bottom every sat or sun. Yes even the pictures! So during the week it is only touch up. When Holidays are approaching I can have more time with family & friends. Baby wipes & Mr clean are my two biggest helpers for keep thing clean!

But, we also get up an outdoor fall display with hay bales, pumpkins, multiple kinds of squash and decorative gourds.
