Enjoy Healthy Eating on the Go with Happy Planet Grab & Go Fresh Soups-Giveaway

For the most part, I eat pretty healthy. While I enjoy the occasional chocolate or pizza splurge as much as anyone, my everyday diet is mostly lean protein, whole grains and plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables. But the one thing that can always sabotage my healthy eating plans, despite my best efforts, is being rushed at mealtime. When I’m ready for lunch and have lots to do, grabbing unhealthy convenience food is just so much easier than making a healthy meal myself.

Kids and Parents Will Both Love the New Shaw Go Disney Junior, Shaw Go Family and Shaw Go Disney XD Apps-Giveaway

A few months ago I learned about the Shaw Go service available to Shaw Cable and Shaw Direct customers; a collection of apps that lets Shaw subscribers watch their favourite shows on portable devices when away from the house. Benjamin immediately fell in love with the kid-friendly apps that the company offered and now, Shaw has made Shaw Go even better for families with the introduction of three new children’s apps for iPhone and Android: Shaw Go Disney XD, Shaw Go Family and Shaw Go Disney Junior!

My boys were all too eager to test out the new apps and I knew that Benjamin would be especially excited about the Shaw Go Disney Junior app. Some of his favourite shows are on this channel and seeing his eyes light up when he saw programming including Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Handy Manny and Special Agent Oso was so much fun. He immediately started exploring his options and even discovered a new favourite cartoon to love, The Secret World of Benjamin Bear. He’s been talking about the show for days now!

Take Entertainment on the Road with the New Shaw Go YTV and Shaw Go Treehouse Apps

With my boys officially off school today, I know that I need to have plenty of entertainment lined up for them. At home they have toys, games and crafts to keep them occupied. But when we’re out and about visiting and running errands, the travel can start to take its toll. That’s why I was so excited to learn about the new Shaw Go apps that have just been released for Shaw Cable and Shaw Direct subscribers.

Shaw Go Treehouse and Shaw Go YTV apps are extensions of the company’s TV Anywhere content. The apps allow me to access top-quality children’s programming including Toopy & Binoo, The Backyardigans and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles while out and about anytime! I couldn’t wait to download the apps and see how they worked for us.

Racing is a Blast with New Angry Birds GO! Telepods Sets from Hasbro-Giveaway

But now, birds and pigs are facing off in a whole new way with Angry Birds GO! Telepods! These fun new sets feature race tracks and karts that power through obstacles in a mission to beat the pigs once and for all. Even better, the sets include a Telepods base that lets you teleport your kart into the new Angry Birds GO! App for even more fun!

I received the Angry Birds GO! Telepods Pig Rock Raceway set to review and I knew my oldest son, a huge fan of both Angry Birds and racing, would absolutely love it. The set contains two karts featuring favourite Angry Birds characters, a track, three pig heads and the Telepods base. We set up the track and got racing!
